You provide:
The guests, all beverages and food, all paper goods, utensils and candles and matches.
We provide:
Invitations, balloons, table cloth, all materials necessary for the art project, instruction, ideas & tools, party atmosphere, and a table for presents or food, and 1 1/2 hours in our party room.
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations must be made at least 72 hours prior to your party. A minimum of 8 party guests is required. The earlier you make your reservation, the better. Saturdays tend to fill up fast! We do require a $30.00 deposit at the time you make your reservation. This amount will be applied to your bill the day of the party. In the case of cancellation with in two weeks of the party, the deposit is non-refundable. Weather rescheduling is not a problem.
What if we want to have the party at home?
Terrific! If you would like to take one of our party packages home, we will box up everything you need and you can take everything with you. The items must be returned within 48 hours of pick up. The price is the same as a regular party package. This is a great option for slumber parties!

Kids love The Mad Potter and we love them! We have a cheerful party room & a knowledgeable, helpful staff. Party guests will create a unique keepsake for themselves or to give as a gift. Our fabulous Private Party Room is set up so that everything that you need is right at our fingertips. Our bright party room and attentive staff will create a perfect place for your party. Everyone will have a great time!
How work
How does the party work?
You choose the party you would like to purchase. You may let the children choose items within the party or you may choose ahead of time the one item that you want everyone to paint. When you arrive, we will have the room set with balloons, table clothes and the activity you have chosen. If the children need to choose a piece of pottery, they will do so when your assistant instructs them. Then, she will give them brief instructions and away they go, on a creative adventure.
When they are finished, we will collect the project, finish them (glaze and fire pottery, fire glass or silver) and they will be ready for pick-up in about a week. Each piece will be in a bag with the childs name on it!
After the project is finished, there should be time for pizza or icecream and cake and maybe presents. Due to limited space, we request that no more than three non-painting adults attend your party. It just gets too cramped and we need to leave space for our staff to help your guests.

Glass Fusing Party
Glass Fusing Party $16 per child
The birthday child should come in ahead of time and choose the project and the colors that he/she would like to use. We will have all the materials ready for you and will teach the children a little about glass fusing, nipping and designing, then they will create a great fused glass piece that we will fire and return in about a week. Choose from: a snake, a nightlight, a sun-catcher, a wind-chime or 3 pendants.

We like to customize adult parties. Schedule one for your office, church group, ladies night out, bridal shower, baby shower, book group, or birthday! Give us a call and we will help you organize the perfect gathering. (859) 269-4591.

How does it work?
Each person in your group will choose from our entire selection of pottery. We will give you some brief instructions, and then you will paint away! When you are finished we will glaze and fire your pieces and they will be ready in 7-10 days, we will give you a call when they are ready to pick up. Cost is the price of the pottery plus the room fee $25. There is a table for food and or presents.

School Groups come into the Studio or we will come to you. Give us call M-F, 9-4.

With fewer there will be a $25 travel fee
There will be a restocking fee for more than 15% error in student estimates of $3 per piece requested and not used. (ie: 100 students and mugs, 74 are present, 26 pieces not used, first 15 there is no charge, the next 11 incur a $3 per piece restocking fee)

Ornament Party
Ornament Parties are great fun! Parties are customized to your needs.
However, there is a minimum of 10 participants & 2 ornaments per guest.

This is a great way to celebrate together during the holidays! Weather it is a class gathering or a family gathering, everyone will have fun and create special ornaments to decorate their tree for many years to come. Cost of ornaments plus $25 Room Fee.
Ornaments range in price from $6 for flat ornaments - $16 for large ball ornaments
