June 2-6 Try it all! at The Mad Potter (Instructor – Taryn) (6+yrs & older)

Experience a little bit of all that The Mad Potter has to offer: glass, clay and ceramics. We will paint a special Happy Everything Platter then make seasonal add-ons out of clay that can be added to the Platter. The Glass Horse and Clay Footed-animal Bowl are two unique items that we are very excited about. And everyone is going to want the fun cookie jar that we paint with a special chalkboard area for labeling the type of cookies that are in it.

June 9-13 Glass Camp #1 (Instructor – Miss Kimm) (8+yrs & older)
All camps from 10:00-12:30 & includes a snack
Fused Glass is the newest addition to the Studio. And it is HOT! Everyone wants to get their hands on glass. We will create 5 unique projects, learn all the basics of glass cutting and fusing. A Picture Frame with hearts and flowers, a dramatic mask, a handprint wall hanging, a night light and a plate personalized with a stylized version of the student’s house. Don’t miss out on the fabulous camp.

June 16-20 Princess Camp #1 (Instructor – Ann Harrison) (6+ yrs & older)

This is the first of out Princess Camps. Put on your princess costume and come play with us. We will have princess lessons, paint and learn a little about fused glass. After our Pretty Pink Pig Banks and Wands are fired we will embellish them with eyelashes and jewels. On the last day of camp we will have a little party and take a picture to put in our lace decorated frame

June 23-27 Kentucky Sports Camp (Instructor – Manager Erica Durso)(6+)
All camps from 10:00-12:30 & includes a snack
This camp will let our sports enthusiasts express their artistic side in glass and ceramics. Football, basketball, tennis or soccer, whichever your passion, we will tailor the projects to your passion. Decorate a plate, bowl & bank with your favorite Kentucky teams colors. Frame you favorite sports photo in a unique glass frame that we will make in your favorite team colors. Our last project is a Ball Bowl made out of glass frit.

June 30-July 3 (four day camp) Holidays in July (Instructor – ?) (6+)
All camps from 10:00-12:30 & includes a snack
Get ready for the holidays with our special Holidays in July Camp. Start with a 4th of July wind-chime or plate. Scare the trick or treaters at Halloween with this scary spider covered candy bowl. Then when Thanksgiving rolls around you can decorate the table with your clay turkey. When Santa comes down the chimney to deliver presents he will be put into a great mood by a special cookie plate made of clay.

July 14-18 Princess Camp #2 (Instructor – Ann Harrison) (6+)
All camps from 10:00-12:30 & includes a snack
The second Princess Camp is going to be a very special camp. As well as princess lessons and getting to wear our princess costumes, we are going to paint12-4”x4” tiles for a large wire mirror, beads for bracelets and pendant necklaces. The mirror will also use flower add-ons and special paints. At the end of the week we will glue/grout the tiles in place and put together the bracelets and pendant neckaces.

July 21-25 Pet Camp (Instructor – Manager Erica Durso) (8+)
All camps from 10:00-12:30 & includes a snack
Pet Camp is our most popular camp of all. We will share stories about our pets and make treats for them. We will paint food and water bowls for our pets. And make two adorable items out of clay: a footed animal bowl and a dog/cat bank. If we have time we will also make a bone shaped wall hanging expressing our affection for our pets.
